Amy Bennett : Executive Member, MAGA National Executive

Amy works as an educator at the Digital Learning Hub at the Arts Centre in Melbourne developing and delivering programs in film-making, music technology and multimedia. She has composed music for many years and has had compositions performed by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and members of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. She freelances as a typesetter, arranger and copyist using both Sibelius and Finale and has worked for people and organisations such as composers Richard Mills and Andrew Harrison, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Willow Publishing and other music publishing companies. She keeps up with the latest technologies (follow @NeutronGirl on twitter) and plays the violin, viola and piano around the Melbourne music scene.

Amy has worked for many years as a music and science educator in the classroom and also teaching small groups and individual lessons. Her special interests lie in the areas of music composition and integrating technology into the school curriculum. She holds a Masters of Applied Physics, Diploma of Music Performance and Postgraduate Diploma of Education.
