Mark is a music industry veteran who has played electric bass with a diverse range of international and local acts. This list includes The Temptations, Tom Jones, Thelma Houston, Debbie Reynolds, Go West, ABC, Spandau Ballet, David Hasselhoff, Shannon Noll, Guy Sebastian, Anthony Callea, Marcia Hines, Margaret Urlich, James Morrison, Kulcha and Supermarket.
Among countless recordings and jingles, Mark can be heard on Anthony Callea's debut CD with The Prayer taking out the Highest Selling Single Award at the 2005 ARIA Awards. Other credits include major theatrical productions of Jesus Christ Superstar, Grease - The Arena Spectacular, Shout, Hair, Footloose and TV shows such as Australian Idol, The Midday Show, 2005 NSW Schools Spectacular, Strictly Dancing and Have A Go.
Mark holds an Associate Diploma In Jazz Studies from the Sydney Conservatorium Of Music and has studied Arranging through the prestigious Berklee School Of Music in Boston (USA). His arranging credits include the NSW Schools Spectacular (2005 & 2006), Dusty –The Musical, Oh, What A Night, Priscilla – Queen Of The Desert, 2006 Brisbane School Spectacular and Rotary International.
Currently, Mark is undertaking his fourth season as electric bassist/arranger for the highly successful Australian Idol TV series and he continues to lecture in bass, ensembles, arranging and songwriting at the Australian Institute Of Music.
