 Peggy Polias

Born Sydney 1981. At a young age, Peggy began learning the piano, and composed Little Sketches. Later, from 1999-2002, she studied towards a B.Mus. (Composition) at Sydney University. Peggy continues to write music, and some exciting projects are currently underway, including the event Triptych '06, in November 2006, featuring nine young composers, nine poets and nine visual artists.
In 2003, Peggy became a member of MAGA Inc. Since then, she has worked as a Finale and Sibelius copyist for several respected Australian composers. Peggy also teaches piano, guitar and music theory from her home studio, and has extensive experience teaching music to young people.
Peggy attends regular rehearsals with Langen Suka Sydney Gamelan Association, and has been playing Javanese Gamelan music for seven years.
